An essential component of providing lean service solutions is our specialist Logistics Center who manage the day to day distribution of new installs, spares, customer-owned stock and shipments to support other aspects of the business.
Being an in-house facility means the Center has a complete understanding of the demand curve of the organisation and the importance of keeping our customer's promises.
ESP’s logistics services are not only available to support our service contracts. There are many scenarios where these services can be used as a stand alone service adding value to a customer’s existing operations.
Warehousing
Located conveniently at our Global HQ, we have a comprehensive fulfilment warehouse that acts as the central staging area for all operations and customer distribution requirements. This is supported by satellite storage locations around the globe.
Stock is either ESP owned or, in the case of depot services, customer owned. Stock levels are controlled and visible through advanced stock control systems.
Accelerated distribution of goods is achieved through the use of specialist expeditors who ensure the relevant import requirements are observed, whether into the UK or another territory. Our depot services act as an effective staging point ideal for customers wishing to store goods often imported from outside the EU awaiting breaking down and onwards distribution, whether free-circulation or re-export. Orders can be picked to any specification, from single item picks to multiple items being picked, re-packed and labelled. We offer full re-working of stock, quality control, packing and delivery.
Specialist stock management technologies give full warehouse inventory control, stock order management, despatch management, reporting and warehouse planning.
Depot Services
Particularly for contracts with an international spread, there is quite often a requirement to locate spares pools at convenient locations around the world. ESP can store significant customer-owned spares holdings, charging only a nominal fee for storage and then further only on equipment movements.
New Equipment Distribution
Often customers do not have access to significant secure storage on their own premises, but might want to benefit from the discounts associated with volume purchases. Similarly to the depot services ESP can take delivery of the equipment, charge a nominal fee for storage and then distribute equipment separately to each location anywhere in the world.
Warranty Repair
Having direct relationships with most major hardware vendors, we can take on the warranty replacement chain as a part of our regular service duties. In addition, being at the forefront of the ATI and IT industry also means we can administer the warranty of many items directly as agents of the manufacturer.
Asset Tracking
